Hello,
I'm Imani.

UX Designer who leverages a diverse background to create seamless experiences through research, empathy, and creativity.

My Design Philosiphy

1 / Explore

Before I was a UX designer, I was a pharmacy tech and customer service rep. These roles taught me how to listen, empathize, and solve problems in real time. Now, I bring that same mindset to user research, digging into what people need and why it matters.

2 / Ideate

I’m a self-taught designer, so I’ve learned to think creatively and resourcefully. I love brainstorming ideas that are both practical and people-centered, always asking: “Does this make someone’s experience better?”

3 / Build

Designing feels like solving a puzzle, and I love the challenge. My pharmacy tech experience taught me precision, and customer service taught me to stay calm and resourceful. Those lessons shape how I move from ideas to polished prototypes with clarity, accessibility, and purpose. Every detail matters, and I make sure each one supports the user.

4 / Test & Iterate

As a self-taught UX designer, I know growth comes from feedback. I test early, observe real users, and refine quickly. Like in my past roles, where small changes made big impacts, I treat every insight as an opportunity to improve. Great design doesn’t happen in one shot — it evolves throguh repition.
